Question 1

I believe that customer support representatives adjusted easily. Their work is remote in the first place, so they were probably one of the many groups of workers who did not suffer when shifting to remote work.

Question 2

One advantage that I felt when working from home is time and cost-efficiency. Given the fact that we don't need to spend time commuting to work, we naturally spend less money on transportation and can use our time more productively.

Question 3

One disadvantage that I can't stress about enough is immobility. When people work from home, a lot of them naturally spend less time moving their body getting from one place to another. There are many long-term side effects that are detrimental to your body. Some of them include muscular weakness, decreased respiratory activity, disorientation, and depression.

Question 4

Yes, I am! Everyone had to work from home last year during the peak of this pandemic. We had to follow regulations imposed on schools by the government to prevent any further spread of the virus. It was not pleasant as I'm generally someone who enjoys hanging out with people.

Question 5

Yes. It was an experience that I will never forget. On the one hand, I was able to wake up later than usual, work at my own pace, and avoid dramas at work. On the other hand, it made me tired easily and slowly killed my creativity. I had to start working out at home and keep myself sane by taking long walks in less-crowded areas while talking on the phone with my friends.

Question 6

There is no doubt that a lot of areas have been affected permanently by this pandemic. People's lifestyle has changed a lot since the beginning of 2020. Some for the better, some for the worse. I do believe, however, that working from home is beneficial in various countries as there's been a widespread opinion that claims working from home reduce pressure from the workplace. For instance, Google started hiring people from all over the world through Zoom interviews. If you work as, for example, a developer for Google, you can literally work from your home without ever meeting any of your co-workers. Some say that this is ideal while others don't necessarily agree with that.
