Question 1

It is the beginning of summer. Early June. It gets very hot and humid from June until the end of September. People tend to stay inside during the super hot months.

Question 2

Anything cold. Shaved ice, ice cream, cold noodle, salad, sandwiches and iced coffee.

Question 3

I like the fall and winter. It is more comfortable to add a light jacket or sweatshirt. It is much easier to get warm than it is to cool down during the summer months.

Question 4

Winter. My favorite food is nabe. We still eat nabe during the summer months, but it is always better in the winter.

Question 5

Summer. It's way to hot and humid. I miss the snow in the winter as well. I'm from Boston, Massachusetts where there is a lot of snow every winter. I think becaue of global warming it is snowing less and less there each year. It never snows in Nara so I do miss the snow, but I hate the summer months.

Question 6

Spring. Especially cherry blossom season of course. It is a short window of time, but very beautiful. The temperature is also perfect at that time. You can see cherry blossoms everywhere.

Question 1

Now it is spring. During this season the flowers start to bloom and I typically get hay fever. The weather also gets warm and muggy.

Question 2

I think ice cream is good in humid and warm weather although it can melt pretty quickly.

Question 3

I like t-shirts and jeans so I prefer warm and dry weather. I feel comfortable in t-shirts and jeans and this has been my style for 25 years or so.

Question 4

I like winter food a lot. Especially roast chicken and roast potatoes, stews, and warm desserts like apple pie.

Question 5

This is a hard question, I think the season I dislike the most is winter because I do not like the cold. On the other hand, I strongly dislike humid weather but I like the warmth.

Question 6

I would say spring is the best time to visit Nara as you can see cherry blossoms. It is also possible to have a picnic in the park which is a popular tradition for many people who live here.
