Question 1

It is the beginning of summer. Early June. It gets very hot and humid from June until the end of September. People tend to stay inside during the super hot months.

Question 2

Anything cold. Shaved ice, ice cream, cold noodle, salad, sandwiches and iced coffee.

Question 3

I like the fall and winter. It is more comfortable to add a light jacket or sweatshirt. It is much easier to get warm than it is to cool down during the summer months.

Question 4

Winter. My favorite food is nabe. We still eat nabe during the summer months, but it is always better in the winter.

Question 5

Summer. It's way to hot and humid. I miss the snow in the winter as well. I'm from Boston, Massachusetts where there is a lot of snow every winter. I think becaue of global warming it is snowing less and less there each year. It never snows in Nara so I do miss the snow, but I hate the summer months.

Question 6

Spring. Especially cherry blossom season of course. It is a short window of time, but very beautiful. The temperature is also perfect at that time. You can see cherry blossoms everywhere.
