Question 1

I have been living in Nara since August 1st, 2018. My family and I moved here from Osaka because we had the opportunity to live in a big house that is cheaper than our old apartment in Osaka.

Question 2

I think Hyoruji Temple is pretty famous. It is a Unesco World Heritage site and I believe it's the oldest wooden structure in the world. It is only a ten-minute bike ride from my house, but I still haven't been there.

Question 3

Akaji Maro. She was born on February 23, 1943. She is from Sakurai, Nara. She has been in over 42 films. She was in Kill Bill: Volume 1which is a very famous Quentin Tarantino film.

Question 4

I like natural landscapes. Soni-mura, Nara is very beautiful. I also like Shigi-san which is very close to my house. I still haven't been to Nara City because I prefer the countryside.

Question 5

I'm not sure how people around Japan see Nara, but my guess is that it is very historical. Some of the oldest places in Japan are here. It's farming industry is really important. I think the people here are genuine and really nice once you get to know them.

Question 6

Yes. I enjoy the countryside more than the city now that I'm getting older. I also think that it is a safe place to raise my children.
