Question 1

Vince McMahon is the owner of WWE, which is the largest pro wrestling promotion in the world. He is kind of similar to Mr. Trump in that, while he may actually be (or may have at some point been) a billionaire, he likes to act like he is among the world's richest and most successful businessmen (which he certainly is not). Partly, though, Mr. McMahon's arrogance is due to the fact that he is playing a bad guy character (the evil rich owner) in his own wrestling promotion.

Question 2

Probably the richest person I ever knew was George Williams, who owned a very large moving and storage company in Canada. He was a multi-millionaire in Canada in the 1970s, when that was a pretty rare thing. He was very humble in his wealth. He started out as a truck driver and built a very large business. My father was not a rich man, but George was one of his closest friends.

Question 3

When I travel, I prefer to stay in inexpensive hotels. I like to save my money for sightseeing, trying local food, and buying souvenirs. I also like to go to inexpensive but good restaurants and drink inexpensive but delicious sake. I often shop for clothes at Uniqlo, and don't wear designer fashions.

Question 4

Even though I prefer inexpensive food and drink I think I probably spend more than most people on eating and drinking, because I enjoy it so much.

Question 5

I would put half of the money away, perhaps in a trust fund, to take care of my daughters' future. I would take my family out to an onsen hotel for a relaxing little vacation. I would take my drinking friends out to a nice beer garden, my treat.

Question 6

I have simple tastes and enjoy simple pleasures. I don't have any desire to buy a big house, a fancy car, or a designer wardrobe. I think that if I suddenly got a lot of money it would not change my life very much. I know what is important to me. I know what I enjoy. My family would still be the centre of my life; and I believe that my friends and my hobbies would not change . I thin that more money would just allow me to travel a little more and eat yakiniku more often.

Not a fan of yakiniku. Probably because every time I go, the people I’m with insist on all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink, which means lower quality product. Add to that I can’t eat as much these days as I once could. I always think I’d be better off going somewhere a little more upmarket, ordering exactly what I want to eat, drinking decent beer or wine, and calling it quits before I’ve broken the bank or made myself sick.
