Question 1

Mount Rushmore is a famous American landmark. 1. The colossal 60-foot-high (18 m) carvings were made between October 4, 1927, and October 31, 1941, by Gutzon Borglum and 400 workers. 2. It looks very different from the Canadian side of the mountain.

Question 2

Michael J. Fox now lives in Manhattan, but he was born in Canada. In fact, we went tot he same High School (but he is four years older than me, so we never met). His most famous role is Marty McFly. He suffers from early-onset Parkinson's disease and has done a lot to raise research funding and increase awareness of the disease.

Starbucks is a very famous American coffee company, based out of Seattle, Washington. I have bought many many many cups of coffee from Starbucks, in Canada and in Japan.

I frequently went to visit Seattle when I was growing up in Vancouver. I have also travelled to many nice places in America. Probably the nicest American city I have been to is San Francisco. It is very beautiful there.

Question 5

I used to enjoy going to American style Sports Bars to watch American Football games and eat spicy chicken wings. It's something that I can't do in Japan and sometimes Imiss it.

Question 6

I am very glad that street crime and gun violence are far less common in Japan than in America.
