Question 1

I have to say both yes and no. It depends on the day or what kind of information it is, whether it is important or not. I forget small things on occasion like leaving the air conditioner on when I go out for a while or setting my pen down and forgetting where it is. I also forget random words when I'm talking sometimes, but I remember them later on.

Question 2

I'm pretty good at remembering numbers in short sequence. When I was in high school I worked at McDonald's and in a short time I had the whole menu memorized, prices and everything. I also remember room numbers and parking spaces well. Let's be honest, though. Who memorizes phone numbers these days? That being said, I still remember my old home phone number growing up.

Question 3

I don't think I have ever forgotten an important date before. I'm pretty good at remembering those. We are really fortunate these days because we can depend on apps like Facebook to alert us about birthdays. If I did forget I would just apologize and wish them a happy belated birthday. Personally, I don't mind if someone forgets my birthday. I don't really celebrate it so I can't get upset, though it is always nice to hear someone say "happy birthday".

Question 4

I think my earliest memory is when I was definitely under 5 years old. I can't remember my age exactly, but I used to watch the original Star Trek series with my father when they played reruns on TV. I remember eating snacks and being fascinated by Spock's pointy ears. Later, in the 90s, we enjoyed watching Star Trek: The Next Generation as new episodes came out.

Question 5

I don't think any of my memories could be described as vivid, but I have a lot of mini memories about holidays with my family. My favorite ones are Thanksgiving and Christmas at my grandparents house. I loved my grandmother's cooking, so I remember all of the things I ate and how I played with my cousins after lunch. Those were good times.

Question 6

I always enjoyed history and languages. History is easier than language since it's just remembering information instead of completely new words. I tend to forget them very quickly. I love science, but it is very difficult depending on the area of study.
