Question 1

I have never been to New Zealand, but I would love to go there someday. I am interested in seeing Kahurangi National Park because it is recommended for people who love geology. I want to see the oldest fossil, caves, and the marble mountains. I would also like to watch the stars on Mount Cook and visit Hobbiton, the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit filming locations. I would also love to see a kiwi bird!

Question 2

It's easy to see why New Zealand is a popular destination. It is fairly close to Japan and has a lot to offer to tourists. Plenty of outdoor activities and natural beauty, which I think many Japanese tourists love.

Question 3

It's possible there could be some envy on each side. Japanese people who love the outdoors may wish to live closer to those places, while New Zealanders who love Japanese culture, whether it is anime, samurai, or something else, may desire a life in Japan.

Question 4

Sir Peter Jackson is from Pukerua Bay in Porirua, New Zealand. Pukerua Bay is a small town with a population of under 2,000 people! Peter Jackson made his first film in his hometown and eventually went on to make Lord of the Rings. I'm sure the natural beauty of New Zealand was a big point of inspiration for his films.

Question 5

Lamb and seafood make up many of the main dishes in New Zealand. I'm not a big fan of those, so I would stick with beef and chicken barbeque. I am a chocolate lover, so I would love to try some of their Whittaker's chocolate, especially the dark chocolate or creamy caramel bar!

Question 6

You've lost me at sports. I don't know anything about rugby and I'm not really interested in other sports either. I would rather spend my time exploring the outdoors than watching the game.
