Question 1

I don't know much about Africa, but I think the most famous country would be Egypt. Egypt is famous for the pyramids and the Great Sphinx. The Nile is the longest river. Most people in Egypt live near it, while few people inhabit the Sahara desert.

Question 2

I have never been to Africa. If I could go, I would like to visit Egypt because I want to see the pyramids and the Great Sphinx. I would also like to visit South Africa since I have met several people from there and heard interesting stories. I would love to go on a safari trip to see the wildlife. I especially want to see the giraffes and cheetahs.

Question 3

I'm not sure if it is a popular tourist destination among Japanese people, but I believe many people want to go on a safari trip. I'm sure many people also want to see the pyramids.

Question 4

I would love to see all of the animals in their natural habitat. It could be dangerous, but it is also exciting. I would love to hear all of the exotic bird sounds in the morning, as well.

Question 5

I am grateful for our well built houses and apartments and our readily available utilities. I'm not sure I could manage without them.

Question 6

I would go for a short time, but I don't think I would stay for a long time. I really like where I live now, so I definitely want to come back here.

Question 1

In one of my favorite Japanese reality shows, they featured Kenya once. They travelled to many African countries like Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. I was amazed how technology has helped developed these countries while also preserving their traditions and the wild life there.

Question 2

Not yet but I really want to go. I want to go on a savannah tour maybe in Kenya and go glamping in a wildlife reserve. If I have the luxury of time, I'd also like to stay there at least for three months to volunteer in organazations that advocate for Education or Infrastructures.

Question 3

I rarely here some of my Japanese aquaintances say that they've been to Africa for tourism. Although some of them have visited it for other purposes like work or to volunteer in organizations.

Question 4

In my obersvation, African lifestyles value family connections and they bond through meals, dance and music. I envy their cheerful disposition and how they celebrate life.

Question 5

My knowledge is quite limited to compare such lifestyles but I am glad that the African lifestyle embraces their traditions and proudly shows it off through their fashion. I also think they are spontaneous when it comes to making plans. I always think spontaneity adds flavor to life.

Question 6

I would surely grab the chance. Preferably, I'd like to join an organization that advocates for Education or Infrastructure building. I'm sure I can learn a lot from that experience and I'd like to share their good practices to the next countries I visit.

Question 1

I think Giza in Egypt is world renowned for the Great Pyramids and Great Sphinx. These ancient structures are very old and attract many tourists every year.

Question 2

No, I have not. I would like to visit The Great Pyramids in Egypt and go to South Africa to see a rugby game at one of their huge stadiums and go on a safari. I do not want to go hunting as I do not like it.

Question 3

I do not think it is very popular as it is very far away and therefore expensive. Africa also has a reputation for being dangerous for tourists, but I think this depends on where you go.

Question 4

I envy the slower pace of everyday life. Japan is so busy all the time and I feel that I am too busy all the time.

Question 5

Conflict and wars between tribes and countries is much more common in Africa that it is in Japan. Actually, there are no conflicts and wars that have been in or involved Japan, that I am aware of. since the 1940s.
