I really enjoy taiyaki, especially the chocolate ones! It is custard, sweet beans, or chocolate cream that is encased in a thin like pastry in a shape of a fish. It is delicious.

I love caramel cake. It is very sweet and I absolutely love it! I do not eat it often as I only have it on special occasions.

Question 3

Yes, I do. I try to only have sweets twice a month.

My mother used to give my brother and I mini KitKats if we were good. They were not so expensive and they are more popular in Japan than in New Zealand.

Question 1

I like Sakura mochi, which is a type of Japanese confection. It tastes sweet and slightly salty. A friend from Germany actually introduced me to this delicious sweet when she was visiting me in Kyōto. I like how the sweetness of the mochi combines perfectly with the saltiness of the sakura leaf.

Question 2

I generally love European sweets, but if I had to choose one, it would be Crème Brûlée. I can't stress how delicious it is! The main taste is sweet, but there are other tastes that I can't describe with words.

Question 3

I do! I can't live without chocolate. I don't know how much is too much but dark chocolate is my go-to sweet. I believe that it has a lot of health benefits.

Question 4

I used to live eating a candy called "Tic Tac." I used to buy it in a local supermarket. If I remember correctly, a pack of Tic Tac costs about $2. It tastes like orange mints, which is probably not the best description since there's nothing else that tastes like Tic Tac. It has a slight sweetness and sourness to it. I can't really find it in supermarkets in Japan so when I crave one, I order it from Amazon.

Question 5

I never liked chocolate-covered bananas. The two forms the worst combination. I don't know anyone who actually likes it.

Question 6

I have never had the necessity to lose weight. In fact, I've been trying to gain weight by eating more but never succeeded in doing so. I guess my metabolism is just really fast!
