Question 1

Beijing is one of my favorite cities to visit in China. There are many extraordinary shopping malls and factory outlets, perfect for those who love shopping. There is also a tourist attraction called The Forbidden City. It is a palace museum that you can't miss when visiting Beijing.

Question 2

I have been to China multiple times. China's technological advancement and food never fail to amaze me. I find the Chinese language to be fascinating and varied among different prefectures. The last time I went there was in 2019 when one of my good friends got married. I went to Ningbo (宁波) for the first time to attend her wedding.

Question 3

Xi Jinping is the president of the PRC. I don't know much about him but my Chinese friends seem to have a divided opinion about him. Some of my friends believe that he is a dangerous man. Some others have told me that he is a very ambitious person who wants to push China to advance forward.

Question 4

I would have to go with the combination of Peking duck and crispy pork belly. They have been my all-time favorite food since when I was little. This type of dish is very rare in Japan, however, there is a restaurant that serves a whole roasted duck in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. The restaurant is called 'Chinese Cafe Eight'. I would recommend eating it with thin slices of cucumber and chili oil. I'm getting hungry already!

Question 5

A recent piece of news that I read relates to Japan's business travel deal with China. Chinese tourists have been boosting the Japanese economy, however, the pandemic has caused the Japanese and Chinese governments to take precautions. Without China's strong economy, Japan's tourism industry would be totally different from how it is today.

Question 6

The recent pandemic has caused China and Japan to work together in many ways. From the initial production of face masks to scientific researches, I would say that the two countries are getting better in terms of their relationship. When it comes to governmental aspects, I believe that there is still a lot that needs to be done to create a stronger bond and trust between the two countries.
