Question 1

Yes, I have. I have been to Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, the American territory of Guam, and of course Japan. Singapore, Malaysia, and Uzbekistan don't really count though, as they were just airport layovers. I have also been to Australia about five times, returning from Japan to visit my family and friends. That means I have been in eight different countries.

Question 2

I've got to go with Australia. When people think of the Land Down Under, they usually think of dusty red deserts. We have those and they are beautiful. We also have rocky brown deserts and sandy yellow deserts. Oh, and lucious rainforests, gorgeous beaches, snowy mountains, wetlands, and so much more. There really is incredible variety in the landscapes of my homeland.

Question 3

Again, Australia. Many Japanese people think of Australia as being a safe country where the people are friendly and the golf is cheap. I can attest to the former though I know nothing of the latter. They also tend to view it as not so far away when compared to places like Europe or the Americas. And then there's the wildlife. What's not to love about Oz, really?

Question 4

My wife and I went to Turkey a year after we got married as a sort of belated honeymoon. We went as part of a package tour. It was a long flight, with a layover in Uzbekistan (I know – Uzbekistan!). The weather wasn't great for the majority of the time we were there; we were supposed to take a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia but it was cancelled due to bad weather. The hotels weren't all that flash with some of the meals being a bit dodgy. On top of all that, I couldn't understand our tour guide's explanations of where we were going and why it was important. It was too far to go for such a lackluster experience.

Question 5

I do okay with flying. I have a few recommendations for having a more pleasant air travel experience. Wear comfortable clothes and unlace your shoes once you get to your seat. Stay hydrated but don't drink so much water or juice that you are constantly going to the restroom. You should also stay away from alcohol as it dehydrates you more than at ground level. And don't try to sleep because you won't be able to get comfortable enough to do so. Just watch a movie or listen to some music and enjoy yourself; you will eventually fall asleep from exhaustion.

Question 6

My top ten bucket list destinations in no particular order are:
    1. Italy, for oh so many reasons;
    2. New Zealand, for the natural beauty of its landscapes;
    3. Singapore, for the fusion of Asian and European culture;
    4. Spain, for the crazy festivals;
    5. England, to see where my parents and grandparents are from;
    6. Ireland, to also explore my heritage;
    7. Scotland, for the ruins and the whisky;
    8. The Seychelles, for the gorgeous beaches;
    9. Sweden, for the castles and palaces; and
    10. Antarctica, because why not?
Runners up: Egypt, Peru, Kenya, Indonesia, and the United States mainland. I'll leave it to you to wonder why I think they are worth visiting and why they didn't make the top ten.

Question 1

Yes. I live in a foreign country as I am an American living in Japan. I have been to neighboring Canada and Mexico of course. I have also been to France, Germany, Portugal, Holland, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Argentina,St.Thomas, and Japan.

Question 2

Buenos Aries, Argentina was incredibly beautiful. The city has a very European feel to it, but it is located in South America. The people are very friendly and energetic. The food (especially the beef and chimichuri sauce) is delicious, and the red wine is cheap and fantastic.

Question 3

I'm not sure exactly, but many students thatI have spoken to about travel have been to South Korea. I'm sure that it has something to do with it's close proximity to Japan. Some Japanese tourists go for the weekend shopping and eating delicious food.

Question 4

Disney in Orlando Florida was the biggest let down by far. My father sent my brother and I there when we were adults. He felt bad because we never went when we were younger. The amusement rides were not exciting the food was horrible and it was all about commercial merchandising. Everything inside of the park was expensive and the restaurants near our hotel were awful.

Question 5

I don't really have any good advice as I never enjoy my flights. I cannot sleep on an airplane. regardless of how tired I am. I try to get an exciting book to read. It will make the flight go faster. Whatever you do, don't watch the visual flight map. It will make the flight seem longer than it actually is.

Question 6

Most of them are in Japan: Hokkaido Tokyo Fukuoka Shikoku Fukuii Greece Sweden Vietnam Cambodia Madagascar

Question 1

Yes, I have been to 19 countries. New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Japan, Mexico, Belize, Great Britain, France, The Netherlands, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, Romania, Austria and Czech Republic.

Question 2

The most beautiful is New Zealand because the nature is very picturesque and natural. I think the most beautiful city that I visited was Paris in France. Paris is a very historical and stylish city.

Question 3

I think any country that has a Disneyland / Disneyword is popular for Japanese people. They adore Disney things. Hawaii is also extremely popular for Japanese tourists too.

Question 4

When I was in my teens I really wanted to visit The UK. I had hyped it up a lot in my mind so when I went there I was disappointed in that it was not what I thought it was going to be. It is still a great place but I thought it was going to be better than what I experienced.

Question 5

I don't mind flying although I can never sleep on the plane. If you cant sleep on the plane and your journey if going to be a long one, I recommend sleeping as much as you can before your trip so when you stay awake on the plane you can watch movies, read a book, or listen to music.

Question 6

I would love to visit Las Vegas with some good friends because it is a wild and crazy city. In terms of nature, I would like to visit the Grand Canyon in The USA. A historical place I would like to visit is Machu Picchu in Peru.
